Teams come in all shapes and sizes, and are used to do many different things. Each team has a unique set of needs and concerns. Building an effective work-unit team is different than building other types of teams, because of the specific culture of the work group, the ongoing nature of the team, and a history of team member interaction. As a leader, you got to have the ability to glue the team together and move everyone into the same direction toward the organization mission. In this Team Building Program, Strengths Innovation Asia helps organizations to develop and sustain high performance team through fun and intensive Team Management Training and High Performance Team Training.


Program Objectives

Developing into a productive, effective team requires the patience, desire, and hard work of all team members. Many teams, looking for fast results, ignore the natural team development process and fall into the trap of letting a few vocal members dominate the team. This, along with many other “team thought traps” reduces the effectiveness and efficiency of the team and reduces the overall enjoyment of the team experience. To build a high performance team, the team leader needs to have an understanding of team dynamics and team formation and this Team Building Program granted so for him/her.

There is plenty of research to show that a team goes through distinct, separate stages as it works to optimize the team experience.  Members must work through issues of attitude toward the task, skill in the many critical team processes, and desire to build effective team relationships. In many ways, the team is actively trying to gain trust; trust others to accomplish the task; trust in the processes they are using; trust in each other.  Trust does not happen in the first meeting or even the first five meetings.  In fact, research suggests it can take five or more months for a team to achieve a high level of trust. Some teams, because of various traps, never do! By the end of the Team Management Training and High Performance Team Training, the team leader or individual will be better equipped to build high-performing teams, enhance team performance and improve one’s productivity and efficiency.
